Thomas L Jelepis
Tom Jelepis is Co-founder and Broker of Agency Professionals Business and Real Estate Brokerage LLC. Agency Professionals provides buy and sell side business and real estate brokerage services to low and middle market businesses. Tom is also a commercial real estate broker licensed in the State of Florida.
Prior to his current position, Tom held leadership and/or ownership positions in firms such as Bass Ohio RE, Ostendorf Morris – Colliers, Coldwell Banker, and Hanna Business Brokerage.
Along with over 36 years of experience in business and commercial real estate, Tom served in the public sector, holding positions as Council Representative then Mayor of the City of Bay Village, Executive Director of the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections, and as an 11-year Board member of the State of Ohio Athletic Commission.
A current Board member of the Northeast Ohio Business Brokers (NOBBA), Tom served on the United Way of Greater Cleveland, Cuyahoga County Mayors and Managers Association, Cleveland Council of World Affairs, Bay Village Foundation, and as Co-founder of “Friends From The Start”, a foundation focused on providing support to individuals and their loved ones touched by cancer. A proud Marine Corps veteran, Tom is a graduate of Leadership Cleveland, Cuyahoga Community College, and Cleveland State University
Jay Tokar
Jay G. Tokar brings over 20 years of experience in public accounting to Agency Professionals and serves as the lead business valuation specialist for Agency Professionals. Jay plays a critical role in helping business owners understand and realize the true value of their company when preparing for sale. His deep knowledge of valuation principles, combined with a practical, client-focused approach, allows him to deliver accurate and defensible business valuations across a variety of industries and business sizes.
Jay holds several distinguished credentials, including Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), which underscore his technical capabilities in the field of valuation. In addition to valuations, Jay has provided litigation support as an expert witness and led forensic investigations related to internal controls and employee theft – skills that further enhance his ability to uncover and explain the financial drivers behind a business’s value.
Jay is a trusted resource for sellers who want to enter the market with clarity and confidence. His detailed evaluations and strategic insight help ensure that clients are positioned for successful outcomes, whether they are navigating complex financial issues or simply trying to understand what their business is worth in today’s market.
With a degree in Accounting from John Carroll University and a practical, detail-oriented approach Jay plays a vital role in helping sellers understand and maximize the value of their business.
